This site is a "clearinghouse for current information regarding the peak in global energy supply" in addition to pertinent energy news in general.

Run by Matt Savinar, a California lawyer, this site has many links and articles. His book is downloadable as a PDF for free until the election. The best part about the site is the ?breaking news? section, which allows you to ?watch the oil crash as it happens? through a daily assemblage of articles on peak oil and related issues mentioned in the mass media around the world.

Not for the faint of heart, this site is a clearinghouse for articles related to peak oil, overpopulation, food production, resource wars, and environmental degradation. A couple of articles ? ?Fossilgate? and ?Eating Fossil Fuels? are really worth reading. This site basically offers the worst-case (and unfortunately most probable) scenario in terms of the impacts of peak oil.

Run by several oil geologists, there is an emphasis on the science behind peak oil and the economic implications. There are bio?s and articles from Deffeyes, LaHarre, Duncan, Campbell and others.

Maintained by Julian Darley, author of High Noon for Natural Gas, this site is a great collection of audio and video interviews with all of the big names in the peak oil discussion. Of special note are the summer 2004 interviews with Matt Simmons on the current state of Saudi production.

Also run by Julian Darley, this is essentially a peak oil action site. There is information about how you can get involved in raising awareness.

As the name implies, there?s lots of information about how to cope with peak oil. This is a relatively new site, but there?s a lot of interesting material.

This is Richard Heinberg?s website. Heinberg?s Museletters, "The Petroleum Plateau" (# 135), "The Endangered US Dollar" (#149) and "Letter from the Future" (#110) ought to be required reading for all Americans. Start your reading with these!!!
